A small garden project required new borders, lawn and extending a patio by removing raised beds  We edged the lawn with Stock bricks and a seating area for the stylish blue metal bench was built along with a hard standing under the swing to prevent swinging feet from carving a ditch where water puddled. We initially planted box to give the garden structure  to tie in with the hedge at the back for a formal look.  The box was removed a few years ago after blight and caterpillar decimated all of it.  The front garden was a separate project after the box there suffered the same fate.  The theme for the back garden is white although some blue and pink has crept in. The garden is shady and we were limited to use mostly existing planting.
