  — About  —

My love of plants began early. Growing up in a family with a passion for gardening, I spent my teenage years working in a nursery, where I developed an appreciation for the extraordinary diversity and beauty of plants. That early enthusiasm led me to study horticulture, and in 2003 I qualified with an HND in Horticulture (Specialist Plant Studies).

Plants have always been at the heart of my work. I am inspired by the great English gardening tradition and by the work of designers and plantsmen such as Piet Oudolf and Christopher Lloyd and designers like Andy Sturgeon. Visits to Great Dixter and the gardens at Wisley continue to provide endless inspiration, and I regularly visit open gardens to discover new ideas and appreciate the individuality that makes each garden special.

I am particularly drawn to romantic planting, combining roses, salvias and herbaceous perennials to create gardens that are rich in colour, texture and seasonal interest. I believe the most successful gardens are those that feel natural and generous, evolving gently with time and becoming more beautiful with each passing year.

Based in Richmond, I work in West London and throughout Surrey, creating and developing gardens that range from intimate urban spaces to larger country properties. Whether designing a new garden, revitalising existing borders or providing ongoing horticultural advice, my approach is always thoughtful, personal and firmly rooted in plantsmanship.

One of the greatest pleasures of my work is seeing a garden mature and develop over the years. There is something deeply rewarding about watching plants settle into their surroundings and witnessing the joy that a flourishing garden brings to those who live in it. For me, gardens are not static creations, but living spaces that grow richer and more beautiful with time, providing enjoyment throughout the seasons and for years to come.
