The Riverbank Garden
A bland space under the ancient poplar tree was converted into a secluded retreat in the shade with a swing seat. A copper water feature sits at the end of the gravel path.

This tranquil seating area is nice quiet spot to relax. The low ground cover purple vincor minor covers the crescent shaped bed allowing a view across into the woodland garden and a feeling of space. Early in the year hellebores add colour in white and pink. In the summer bright orange crocosmia in small groups add vibrancy. Lonicera tidy tips balls add evergreen shape for winter.
